PUA.JScoinminer browser repair?
I have accessed where I guess I should not have gone. I keep getting a PUA.JScoinminer that keeps going on and my Norton is blocking it but I get the pop ups notifying me that it is running when I open Firefox.
I have run Norton antivirus full scan and even run Norton power eraser and neither one helps.
Guess I have to uninstall and then re-install firefox to get rid of it???
Thanks, Dennis Schatti

in Firefox type "about:support" in the url bar then click "refresh firefox" then clear your cache and stuff
it should be gone and you can delete the file, seems all that is, is a Javascript miner coded to mine XMR/Bitcoin on your hardware, should be pretty harmless.
If it's still being difficult then go download the free versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Those miners are going to get popular, websites are using them on visitors to replace add revanue

Beerbaron23... Would you be kind enough to be more specific about "...and stuff" in your statement "refresh firefox" then clear your cache and stuff? Does that mean in addition to deleting all add-ons and customizations and resetting to initial installation defaults, bookmarks and history will be deleted? Hate to loose the latter two. If so would it be better to just uninstall then reinstall Firefox? Thank you.
