I have a laptop running windows 7 64bit. I am not able to type in any browser text boxes. I have tried safe mode in Firefox and that does not help. I have deleted the firefox profiles and completely removed firefox. I just did another install of firefox ver 25.0.1. I have now problems using the mouse, but as soon as I try to type in a field the program will freeze and I will get the error box asking if I want to close the program look for a solution and close program or wait it out. If I look at the problem details it says, A problem caused this program to stop interacting with windows.

Also in IE10 I have basically the same issues. If I do go through the system tools and load Internet Exployer with no addins I am able to go to the URL box and type in www.bing.com and hit enter and it will go to that page but once there I can not again type in any text box. Add shortly later IE just goes away like in a crash.

Some have reported that pressing F9+Windows one or more times has worked to fix issues with the keyboard not working.

Pressing the F9+Windows Key just causes the little circle icon to spin as if the computer is trying to process something. Click on the X in upper right corner and box shows up saying Firefox is not responding and so I click on close the program because there is nothing else I can do. The same thing happens in IE 10, except in a little bit of time that program just disappears as in crash.

F9 and then while holding F9 also holding the Windows key worked for me ! Thanks!
