[Solved] TinyMCE as a Rich text Editor within MODx no longer works
I use MODx as a Content Manager on a LAMP host. Following th upgrade to Firefox 11, on content pages where I have more than one Rich Text editing field, all except the last field show blank. The TinyMCE window shows, with all the icons, but no content is visible, nor does the cursor show.
The content is there - switching TinyMCE off shows the raw html - just not visible.
This phenomenon seems to be independent of client computer OS and version of MODx and version of TinyMCE. I've tested Win XP 32 and 64 bit and Win 7. All have different sets of plugins. I run many websites and have multiple versions of MODx and each has its own verison of TinyMCE embedded.
Other browsers (Safari, IE8 and Chrome all tested) don't have this issue. Only Firefox. I've posted to the MODx forums. No answers there yet. No changes to anything else happened, except possibly the LAMP Host and I've reported it to them too. They have responded to say that they made no changes to any of their servers.
My clients in other countries all have the same issue when they use Firefox to access the MODx CMS.
I post here in case it is a Firefox issue in isolation.

Thanks for the very quick response.
Solution: Wait for Firefox 12 - bug will be fixed. or Meddle with TinyMCE. or use another browser pro-tem - sacrilege I know or upgrade TinyMCE to 3.4.9 or better
As a short-term workaround, try this: immediately after loading the page, zoom up one level and back down one level (e.g., Ctrl++ then Ctrl+-). This will redraw the edit controls, which makes them work, at least on one page I tried.
Edit: I don't think this can be scripted, but perhaps there is a scriptable way to accomplish the same thing.
