Using 'no-squint' for some time, was able to set universal or page specific zoom level in the Firefox Menu. No-squint is gone from that menu. I am still able to <ctrl> mouse wheel and change a page, but have no menu option to access 'no-squint>

Which menu was it on?

You could try checking the NoSquint options dialog. Usually a button is available here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons

On the left side, click Extensions, then look for NoSquint.

If there is no option to add/remove a menu item, you might need to reset all your menus and toolbars, but go ahead and check options first.

It was on the 'regular' menu, right side, below 'bookmarks' - I believe it was just below the 'addons' and above the 'samfind' And, thanks for the hint in the addons, I had already done that several times.

I didn't have it enabled, but I see what you see (or should I say, I don't see what you don't see).

I don't know whether there is any way to add a menu item yourself. (The Menu Editor extension only mentions removing and rearranging.) Perhaps there is a way to let the author know you miss the menu item?

Meanwhile, on the classic menu bar, there still is a menu item:

View > Zoom > Zoom Settings (NoSquint)

You can access that by pressing Alt+v to display the classic view menu.

With the mouse, you also can use the magnifying glass icon on the Add-ons Bar, or move it to the main navigation toolbar.

Do you still see the NoSquint extension as installed and enabled in Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions ?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.

I do not see a 'tools' menu. Addons show no-squint, and I was able to enable no-squint in the bottom addon bar. All options seem to be fine, except cannot display in the firefox drop down menu as before. I guess I will just live with the bottom addon bar....... Thanks!

Did you look in the Zoom menu (press F10 to make the menu bar appear)?

I had totally forgotten the - & + adjustments on the toolbar! I am also able to <ctrl> wheel to adjust. I guess I really don't need to be able to access the settings for individual sites that badly. Thanks to all who have lent me a hand and tried to help. God Bless You All!

I don't normally use the menu bars - my eyesight is not too good, so I eliminate unnecessary bars. It is there though, thank you. However, pressing f10 does not toggle it..... Thanks
