How do I change my primary email account?
I have 2 gmail accounts. I want to change my current primary account and make the other gmail account my primary. I can't find any place in my account settings to do this.
I have a MAC with Lion OS. All is updated.

Hi eleanora,
If I understand you right, you would like Firefox to save your password and log in to a specific gmail account (the one you call #2).
This is Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox. You can see which passwords are stored by Firefox.
Gmail offers you the option to stay signed-in. You can check their documentation You can then stay signed in with the account you prefer.
Where are you seeing that "primary account" message?

Hi eleanora,
Where would you like to change your primarily account?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Maybe this will help? When I go to gmail using Firefox what is called my primary account (1) and password come up automatically. I'm not even sure how this became my primary account - probably because it was the first account I logged into when I started using Firefox? I have to manually type in the (2) account that I want to use everytime. I basically would like this (2) account to be my primary so when I go to gmail on Firefox (2) shows up.

Hi, Thanks to you, I have found a solution and now have deleted the automatic sign in. It's working marvelously. :) many, many thanks for helping me no longer being frustrated.
