Hi, after upgrading Firefox I can't log in on my local newspaper, I get a message that says: "Java-script is not enabled or the script was'nt loaded". My Java is the latest version and in "options" it's enabled, what is wrong?

You probably don't need Java. It is JavaScript that you need and they are not the same.

Tools ("Alt+T") > Options > Content > [x] Enable JavaScript

see

You may have done something to block JavaScript on a site that you need it

Hi, tried your suggestions, no help. I haven't made any "manual" changes on any site, this occurred after an upgrade. When I check my extensions it says that Java-console is not compatible with Firefox8, where can I get the previous version that worked?

I've gone back to Firefox 3.6.24, now everything works as before. Pity that the upgrade didn't work, I feel at home with Firefox and of course I want to use the latest version.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
