Facebook loads fine, but when I go to play the games, the ads, etc. won't stay to the right of screen. They impinge on the games and I can't play the games. I have tried tabbing , but that doesn't work. How can I keep the ads from impinging on the games?

Facebook loads properly and all the advertisements and info about who is on or played, etc. stays to the right of the screen where it belongs. When I go to play any game, (TM, TI, FV or Gardens of Time), the information that should stay to the right of the screen impinges on the game and I can't get it to go to it's proper position. Can't play the games as I can't access some of the game features because of this problem. This does not happen if I use Internet Explorer.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
