Unable to uninstall bing. Not in "add-ons" not in "control panel programs". I gave up on using Firefox for that reason.

My search bar shows Google as my default search engine. However, whenever I write something in the address bar, the result comes from bing.com. I searched for help at several places. I tried all solutions, including uninstalling Microsoft Live Essentials. I searched for bing toolbar, search toolbar in the system. Not to be found anywhere in my system. I stopeed using Firefox, and switched to another Mozilla product. The problem is imposing something without permission.

Thank you for your reply and help. Unfortunately it did not help. I believe that something that Microsoft updated caused that and it is almost a hijack by bing. I have Google as search engine on the right side where the search bar is. I can still write something there and Google search results are shown on the page. However, when I write something in the address bar on the left side, the results are shown as a bing search. Anyhow, it looks like the only way is to install Pardus, a Linux system and give up on Microsoft systems.
