Pls help me to solve below problem:

In a certain blog ( http://techtips01.blogspot.com/2010_03_17_archive.html ) dated 17 March, 2010 I found in point no. 07:

7. Rather than wait until a page has completely downloaded to display it to the user, Mozilla applications will regularly render what has been received to that point. This option controls the maximum amount of time the application will be unresponsive while rendering pages. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.

A. Enter content.max.tokenizing.time in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK

B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 2250000 and click OK.

But during mouse clicking I made a mistake instead of clicking “integer” I did click on “string” (New --> String).

As a result it becomes: Preference Name Status Type Value

content.max.tokenizing.time User Set String 2250000

Which should be: Preference Name Status Type Value content.max.tokenizing.time User Set Integer 2250000

I tried a lot to set “integer” instead of “string” but I am fail to do that. I would like to know if there is any problem for that !!!!

Pls help me to set “integer” in “type” column. I will be grateful to you if you pls give me solution for the above mentioned problem. Waiting for your kind & prompt reply.

Thanks & Best Regards,

In about:config does right-click and Reset do it?

If not, close Firefox, look in your profile for file prefs.js, and edit it with a text editor. Delete the entry and add it again properly.
