I have a flash movie that has a thin white line on the left side which comes and goes as you stretch a window. Does not show up in any other browser. http://www.whiteotter.com/new/ Same thing occurs in another site http://hokenoly.com/ The flash movie is the same width as container div. Thanks for any suggestions.

this problem occurs for me too. It has something to do with the size of the frame that the movie is placed in, or the background colors. I don't have this problem unless my frame is the exact same size as the flash movie. My flash movie had a black background as well and the surrounding images to the iframe were black. Perhaps the color black is part of the problem?

what actually happens is that it is picking up a 1 pixel line that is the same color as the most adjacent cell color. Maybe creating a border on the iframe would offset it? Safari does not have this issue.....

I'm not using iFrames. The div directly above the flash movie is white. The background of the div containing the movie is not white. So I can't figure out where the white line is coming from.

I read a couple of other instances on the net where people where having similar issues. It's strictly a problem with firefox and how it handles the table cell with an embedded object. I don't know if this will work, but try to create, eliminate or alter your borders around your flash movie in the code. See if it gets worse or disappears. I'm going to just make the flash movie the entire width of the website so that it is no longer an issue.

i just discovered that if you make your backgrounds white, it can actually make that annoying line into a darker color. It looks like it is matching the color defined in my css style sheet.
