Search From Address bar
I have Firefox version 92.0 on my laptop, using Windows 10. I'm trying to disable search from address bar. I have changed the value of keyword.enabled from true to false as suggested, but when I type anything into my Google search engine it still jumps up to the address bar. Any other suggestions?

Hi, you can set keyword.enabled back to its normal value. There is a different setting to prevent the search box in the built-in Firefox Home / new tab page sending your cursor to the address bar when you start typing in that search box. It takes a bit of work to find it because of the unusual name:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste handoff and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar preference to switch the value from true to false
Success?
