the IT guy at work worked on my PC there to make it faster, and in doing so changed a setting (in Firefox, I believe) and now on all my (personal) social media accts (FB, Twitter, Yahoo mail, Instagram) I have to sign in every time I re-open the Firefox browser (even at home, on my personal PC).

This does not happen on other browsers----so I suspect he changed Firefox. I was signed into Firefox when he sat down and worked on the PC, this is why it happens on my home PC as well. All my log-ins autofill, and I have to click through -each time- to get into Facebook, Twitter, etc. and I also get emails and notifications telling me that "my acct signed into a strange browser" which is annoying and also Twitter made me change my password because it did not recognize the browser (same one I always use!).

How do I go back to having those windows (FB, Twitter, etc.) open *completely* each time I open the browser w/o needing to click through autofill log-ins every time??? Basically I need the browser to be recognized by each account, I think.

Thank you-

  • to clarify, my log-ins now all auto-fill but I still have to click through each one until I get in. The former situation was that the windows all opened up automatically, no auto-fills, no extra log-in steps, no notifications about browsers that they don't recognize.
