Hello, I am unable to sign up on a website subscriber form sign up when using FireFox as my browser. This sign up form use to work fine with FireFox but now I can only sign up when using MicroSoft Edge. My friend and another person helped me test using their personal computers using FireFox, Chrome, Safari, etc and they said that the subscriber form works for them.

Why would it use to work for me but does not now with same firefox browser?

What could be in my FireFox browser setting that is not allowing me to see this subscriber form working properly? The submit button is supposed to change color when you hover when it works and also if you left the input fields empty and hit submit the error messages should come up telling you to fill in the fields completely. None of that is working for me on FireFox now, so I cannot sign up on the form using my prefered browser (firefox). PS: the website is mine, I am testing the subscriber form is working properly.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Yes! It works in the Safe Mode Start Up of FireFox. What do I do now so that it works when I start up normally?

Update: I followed this article here after tested in FireFox Safe Mode and noted the problem was gone, in order to fix it so that it will work on normal start up. I still have issue on normal firefox start up but here is more info if you can help. 1) I disabled the hardware acceleration (like the article says to do) 2) I checked theme- I was already on default theme 3) I checked extensions - apparently I did not have any add on extension themes - so none to disable or update.

Do you think at this point I should "Refresh Firefox" and see what happens? Is there something else I can do to see why it works in safe mode but not in normal start up?

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

It could be a setting causing the issue.

Refreshing Firefox {web link} is a LAST RESORT ! !

Refreshing Firefox -- easily fix most problems

If you're having problems with Firefox, refreshing it can help. The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks and open tabs. Everything else, like user settings and add-ons, are removed. Note: Refresh saves your old profile to the desktop in a folder called Old Firefox.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Hello, I checked the shield for the website sign up form and it is actually grey with enhanced tracking turned OFF for that site already. I also do not have any of the above extensions (I actually have none) other than McFee on one computer and not even that on the laptop.

So I am at a loss as to which setting I have unique to me that is the same on both computers that doesn't allow me to view and sign up on the subscriber form properly on desktop and laptop. The website form works fine for other firefox users, and works when I change browsers to Microsoft Edge or use my phone.

I have had my settings the same so am wondering if it has something to do also with an automatic firefox update that doesn't play nice with my settings , whichever one is the culprit...
