I have looked at settings, and privacy and security, but can find nothing about the ad blocker. Please tell me where to look. Why not have a quick link to this?

Hello adrianhalfyard ,

Firefox doesn't have a built-in ad blocker;   you could download an add-on like
AdBlock Plus,   uBlock Origin,   or any other ad blocker you can find on the addons.mozilla.org   page .....

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

Didn't Firefox used to have a built-in AB? Thanks, Adrian

You may be thinking about   "Tracking Protection"   -   see this thread :

Tracking Protection   (now called   "Enhanced Tracking Protection")   did not block ads ;   if it's ads that you want to block,   you would really need to download an add-on.
