4 gmail accts., send from Y, recipient sees sent from W. Outgoing server settings seem correct. Thought earlier question on this was solved, it was not. Help!
Listed below are the outgoing server descriptions (four) appearing for my gmail accounts. When I send emails from Account Y, the recipients receive them as coming from Account W. These accounts are listed under the Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings in the following order:
gmail – W smtp.gmail.com gmail – X smtp.gmail.com gmail – Y smtp.gmail.com (Default) gmail – Z smtp.gmail.com
In this list “Delete” is enabled for all except Y which has a (Default) designation. I cannot delete that (Default) designation. Following are the outgoing server specifications for each account. I am unable to discern what I am doing wrong that ends up having Y emails appearing to be sent as W emails. Thoughts?
Description: gmail - W Server Name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 User Name: [email protected]
Authentication Method: Normal Password
Connection Security: STARTTLS
Description: gmail - X Server Name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 User Name: [email protected]
Authentication Method: Normal Password
Connection Security: STARTTLS
Description: gmail - Y Server Name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 User Name: [email protected]
Authentication Method: Normal Password
Connection Security: STARTTLS
Description: gmail - Z Server Name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 User Name: [email protected]
Authentication Method: Normal Password

You are not using the correct smtp server.
Please post the following as images.
Tools > Account Settings > Outgoing Server (SMTP) select: the Y account smtp server Post image of this window
In left Pane select Y account select: Account Y mail account Post image of this window
If you feel you do not want to display any image containing your User Name, then I would suggest you send an email to me with images as attachments. Do not alter anything in the images. Email: mail at anje dot co dot uk
