Can't open some (random) web sites or continue in a site without "Stop loading" then "Reload current page". Recent problem, last 6 months. Chrome is o.k.

Web sites won't load, about 50%, maybe 80% totally random. When in and I try to execute a hi-lighted field, same problem. Hit "stop loading" and "Reload" and page comes up immediatly. Sometimes the page comes up when I hit "Reload", but not often.

I have loaded Chrome, not fond of it, but it gives instant load of all sites.

I have used FireFox for ever (maybe 15 years?) I want to go back to it!

Thanks

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
