how do I remove trovi from firefox?
Closing down the computer last night, after all the windows were gone there was a box saying that the search engine is recommending another search engine for greater privacy. Options were to accept or cancel or X it. I clicked the X to exit. This morning, it appears to have taken over FF. My home page is only their search engine . If I try to reset to home page, it instantly reverts to the trovi.com page. Searching for "trovi" on my computer yielded no result. It is not in the add ons or extensions. I want it removed. This is obviously malware that I did not elect to install, but got installed anyway. Add or remove programmes in control panel showed no programme named trovi. There is a forum question about trovi, but the answer is only for apple/macs.
