As in the topic, the whole time untill last few days middle button click on tabs panel always performed opening new tab, recently it has changed into opening the last closed tab. That's a massive frustration for me, any way to fix this? Please mind that it's about clicking middle mouse button on Tabs Panel, not a hyperlink.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Works for me in Firefox 38.

Is the Firefox window maximized?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Hope not or there is some possibility to change this. That's ridiculous.

Thanks cor-el, that was the point! One addon for managing sessions had an option to change behaviour of middle click and it was automaticaly set to undo closed tab. Thanks!
