If I am on a website such as Food network and I use the print key to print out a recipe, when it prints is is supper tiny and is not legible. It did not do this a month or two ago. It does it also on email.

Might check File -> Print Preview and make sure the scale isn't something crazy like 30%.

Does the tiny print fill the entire page, or does it appear that Firefox is only using part of the paper? Only using part of the paper and shrinking everything to fit in that smaller area can be caused by corrupted settings Firefox has saved for your printer. More details on that if relevant.

Regarding printing emails, most webmail sites have a button or menu item to display a print-optimized version of the message without sidebars and other items that can distort the layout. If you aren't already using that, please look for it. If you can't find it, you could mention which mail site you use (e.g., Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail) and someone with an account on that system could hunt it down.
