Hi All,

Please could I have some help with my Firefox. I have been using Firefox for years and have not had an issue with my profile before.

When my machine (windows server 2012) goes to standby and I reconnect, the tabs crash out. I can close the Firefox window but the firefox.exe still remains running and I get an access denied message when trying to close it.

I then need to restart the machine in order to get the process to close.

When I uninstall the application, I also deleted the Mozilla folders in AppData as well as ran CCleaner to clear out the registry.

It then reinstalls fine for a day or two before the issue starts again.

Is there any info on why this could be happening?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

If this is not the case, please consider changing the way Firefox connect to the internet: Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox

The default setting is "Use system proxy settings" and you also could try "No proxy."

Thank you for the suggestions but none seem to help. Firefox just crashes out all the time now, I open the browser, close the browser and then that's it, I cannot open another window as the task is already running.

Something is corrupt even after I clear all data and registry files.

Will need to use IE/Chrome until I can get a solution
