On emails we send, our address shows as a / (slash) on the computer we send it to.
On Explorer, Google, and Google Chrome that is what people we send an email to see on their computer .... on Firefox all they see is a slash / .... several of our friends have deleted these emails because they do not know who they are from .... how to I reset Firefox to correct this problem

Are you using the e-mail providers wed site to send these messages? Before you send the next message, STOP ! Check what is listed as the sender. Add your address in the CC: line. When you get that message back, is the sending address the same or different?
did as you suggested .... we use AOL as our homepage ...noticed in Firefox the top line on the email from showed our email address with a / in front of it .... checked same homepage on explorer, google, and google crome, no / .... went back to Firefox and erased the / .... seems to have worked
help appreciated
