I have 2 email accounts in Thunderbird and would like to move the second one to the first position in the list. The second one is the one I use most often but when I share documents the first one always comes up first and I then have to manually change it. It would just be easier if the second one came up first

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Right-click on the account in question in the folder list and select "Settings" from the menu, which will open the Account Settings dialog (you can also get there from the [≡] button in the "Options →" menu). Make sure that the main tab of that account is highlighted. Select (at the very bottom) Account Actions to open the menu, then "Set as Default" and finally clicking Ok.

Restart Thunderbird and that account should now be the first in the list.

I have the same problem, but I want to move my, let's say, 9th account to the 4th place in the account list.

Any help is really appreciated.
