Cannot sync with my account in Firefox for Android

I recently downloaded Firefox for Android, and when I try to sync up with my Sync account, I keep getting the "invalid email or password" error. I thought I might have just forgot my password, went to change it, and it says "invalid email". I am logged into my Sync account with that same email as I write this message from my PC, so it can't be invalid. Please advise.

hello, when you have just upgraded all your devices to firefox 29 you might have to migrate any priorly created accounts to a new format: Sync your Firefox bookmarks, history, passwords and more

I have just downloaded Firefox desktop for PC. Is the Google Play version of Firefox up to 29 as well?

it should be, buy you can check in the firefox menu under settings > mozilla > about firefox.
