I am tring to run selenium with firefox and wants to know if there is a setting I can change to make firefox become headless browser? (window and linux) and yes I did look at the other headless browsers, just wondering if firefox itself have an easy way to make that change.

I am not sure what you mean by headless, I will assume not menu bars. In the new Firefox 29 you can customize the toolbars to not appear, however there will still be the tab toolbar and the navigation toolbar. There is a classic theme restorer you can try as well https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../classicthemerestorer/

You can use the developer toolbar to navigate. Its quite awesome https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/d.../GCLI

It may not be exact, but I hope this helps.
