I just updated to Firefox 24.4, but my Clippings Icon is not available. I tried to add it with customize my toolbar, but the icon is not available.
It appears all my clippings are still available, but I can not find my Clipping manager Icon on My Firefox page. I was able to update Mozilla and reestablish my clippings, but not on FF.

Try going back to the 4.0.1 version of Clippings, and turn off Updates for that extension by clicking on More and then scrolling to the bottom and "tick" Off for Automatic updates for that one extension.
My thoughts are that something which was changed for Australis (the upcoming Firefox 29 release next week) compatibility in version 4.1 isn't working right on Firefox 24.4.0.
Or you could post to the new AE Creations forum for help.

This did not work. Should the icon automatically appear on the Navigation tool bar? It's not available under customize tool bars
cawatson,
I use Clippings on a day-to-day basis and I have the latest version (4.1) and it appears great on my Firefox. When I upgraded from 28 to 29 it moved over quite nicely. But you're on the ESR (24.4.0) or maybe just the regular 24.4.0
I see some super weird addon (IDS_SS_NAME IDS_SS_VERSION) and maybe that's related to what's happening. Can you try to disable that and see if it works?
You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
