Several websites dont work in Firefox
We have a VDI image with XP and Firefox 22. I building a new VDI image with XP and Firefox 22 (we had Firefox 10.0) the problem is that several sites dont work in Firefox 22 (but Work in IE 9) and in the old Image with Firefox 10. If we go to www.google.nl or www.miscrosoft.nl it worked oke. but when i go to www.telegraaf.nl of www.nu.nl or www.tweakers.net i see a flash of the websites and then it closes Firefox whithout any error message. When is Use Internet Explorer 9 it works oke, or when i use the old build with firefox 10.0 its also oke. I have removed version 22 and installed it again with the same results (not showing the websites) i tried version 19,20,21 and 22 but all with the same results. I tried the solutions on your websites (and some other sites) but they dont solve the problem.
kind regards Patrick

Hi Patrick,
The three websites you mention work ok for me. Do they work on your ordinary desktop with Firefox on XP ?
The fastest solution is to update to the latest Firefox: Firefox 22. Then use the Firefox Reset option. Read the article first you will loose some information/features (probably the cause of the problem)
If you have more time for troubleshooting try Firefox in safe mode and then try to figure out the actual cause of the problem.
Try safe mode or Reset and post back with how you get on.
If the problem relates only to Virtual Images, and the above methods do not help then you are probably better trying for help on a a more specialised forum such as mozillazine, or maybe one relating to your virtulisation software.
Thanx for you fast reply.
we dont have ordinary desktops with firefox.
We have updated to Firefox 22 , thats when the problems started :-) resetting and save mode wont solve the problem , i tried all the solutions on the web site of Firefox. Hopefully do have some other solutions. Kind regards Patrick
Since these are media sites, my initial suspicion is a Flash issue. This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)
See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
By the way, have you looked at the ESR release of Firefox? http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/
