The top 1" under the toolbar is dead on my screen. It's been this way for months. It is only on Firefox. What's wrong and what do i do?
The top 1" of my screen is dead. I cannot click on anything or type anything. For example, on Foxnews.com I can click on the home button or anything on that toolbar, but I cannot use anything above it. It is on every website, but it is NOT on any other browser. I like Firefox the best but will have to Google if I cannot fix it. I have checked and I an up to date on my version. I run Windows 7 and Firefox version 15.0.1 Thanks

Hi Ehfarms
Try to Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems , and check it again.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information (you can read for more info the above article).
thank you

That can be caused by a user-added toolbar like Yahoo Toolbar or Babylon that extends (invisibly) over the top of the web page display area. Start in Firefox safe mode and experiment by turning extensions on/off to find the one.

Start Firefox in safe mode????? Sorry but I'm not a computer pro. The top part of my screen is dead, you know, the area where it has a place to click to ask a question. Doesn't work. What is this safe mode fix????
Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all. You DO have the best tool for the internet and do hope you can help.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:
- On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
- On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
- Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
If it works in Firefox Safe-mode then disable all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
