Since I received FF 14.0.1 I have had an issue come up perhaps 33% of the time where I will click a link, either in FF or in Outlook, and FF will then open two tabs for the link. This has been ongoing since I was upgraded to 14.0.1 and it is aggravating.

Hi,

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode. Safe mode disables the installed Extensions, and themes (Appearance) in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - the manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Use hardware acceleration when available. All these settings/options/add-ons can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed in Firefox normal mode to check if an extension, theme, option or hardware acceleration is causing issues. Disabling/enabling hardware acceleration, and some types of add-ons in normal mode may require a Firefox restart.

Hi, I just got home and am experimenting. I tried the Safe Mode for awhile and had no occurrences and now I am back to normal mode to see if it repeats itself and where.

Thanks.

OK, I will do that and see what happens. I have had an instance happen once I went back to Normal mode and have turned off a couple of my Add-On's to see if that had any effect.

I'll check back when I get an instance that occurs again.

Thanks.
