Ron,
Glad it worked & thanks for posting back.

Hulu has been known to cause problems in the past, I was not aware of it specifically causing problems on Windows 7 with Firefox 9 but it was worth a suggestion, and in this case it seems it was the problem.

I wonder if others are having the same problem with the same cure ?

Presumably you use video and the internet connection is known to be fast and reliable, if not check that.

  • Do you see that problem on all sites, including this forum, or only certain sites ?
what sorts of sites cause problems ?
  • Have you any heavy background processing or network tasks running e.g. AV checks and updates, disk indexing, downloading.

Clear the browser cache, and the cookies (you could loose some site settings or preferences with the cookies) for any problem site. See

Try in safe mode

  1. do not change options in the first window, just click on continue
    • use only the default firefox theme
  2. if problems still exist then whilst still in safe mode disable all plugins
    • please confirm you have tried with Hulu disabled

Post back with how you get on.
