JUST DOWNLOADED 9.0., NOW FONT IS SO SMALL I CANNOT READ IT
I HAVE TRIED CHANGING THE FONT SIZE, BUT IT JUMPS BACK AND MESSES UP THE REST OF THE COMPUTER. IT ONLY SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM IN GMAIL

If it is only in gmail, I would say it is a gmail problem specifically. Here is an article from the Google documentation that might be of use:

Try this:-
1) Open the Firefox browser
2) Navigate to any page
3) Press and hold the left CTRL key and roll the centre mouse button either in forward direction (to increase the font size) or in downward direction (to decrease the font size)
Once done close the browser. Open a new window and see if the problem is still there

PROBLEM SOLVED, I READ SOME OF THE OTHER PROBLEMS AND TRIED CONTROL + AND IT WORKED GREAT. THANKS FOR THE HELP
