When I used Find to search for words on a page, FF will not allow me to finish typing the word. The cursor jumps to text on the page that I have typed and I have to keep moving my cursor back to the find box to keep typing.

I have to keep clicking back in the search box to finish typing and it keeps doing this every time it finds the text I have typed up to that point. The only way I can find a term on the page is to copy and paste the entire word or phrase into the search box. Mac OS X 10.6.7 Mac Pro This does not happen on my MacBook Pro also using 1.6.7

I just solved my own problem shortly after posting the question. I disabled "Search Menu" and that fixed it. http://kallout.com/ff/about.html
