Firefox 4 (& 4.0.1) has consistently crashed every day since I installed it ONLY when I am visiting The Guardian's website. Any ideas please?

Firefox 4 (and 4.0.1) has crashed every day since installation ONLY when I am visiting The Guardian's website. I usually have 15+ tabs open but the browser remains steady with every other web page... thoughts please.

Do you have any crash report IDs, they may help somebody identify the cause of the crashes. For details of how to find the crash report IDs see Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly).

If you type about:crashes into the location bar and press enter it will list the submitted crash reports. If you copy and paste some of the recent report IDs it should hopefully help to identify the cause.

one thought... might it be the typically 20+ tabs i have open?

I checked the crash reports but could not establish the cause of the crashes. The number of tabs open is unlikely to have an impact upon this.

One of the associated bug reports indicates that it may be related to extensions. Try the procedure in the following link to start Firefox in safe mode and see if it still crashes. If it does not crash in safe mode it indicates that an extension may be causing this.
