I can't download foxfire. The download just keeps trying and trying but ends in error.help would be nice.

the official downloadpage is getfirefox.com - can you please provide the full error message that you're receiving

If you use IE to download Firefox then don't try to run Firefox directly, but download and save the file to your computer (Desktop) and start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon.

the download manager will just not download it. It just says preparing and keeps trying to download or it says could not download because of error but will not say what the error is.

it's probably a problem with the download manager you're unsing - disable it (temporarily) and use the plain IE for downloading the file
