I just installed Firefox for Mobile on my Verizon Wireless Droid with Version 2.2 OS. It installed fine, but once i used it to navigate on the web, thats where i started having it lock up, and lock up my phone completely. I rebooted the phone when i could, went back into Firefox, and tried doing a simple web search, it was unresponsive. I tried going to put add-ons on the mobile browser from the Mozilla website, and it would also freeze and lock up the phone. I don't know if this is a common problem that you all are seeing right now with this Beta, but I think it is something that should be addressed.

I am a HUGE Mozilla fan, and look forward to seeing this program work as well as the computer web browers that you have created. The layout of the Mobile version is very cool, and looks like a blast to navigate with. Just hope you can find a patch soon. Thanks.

Sorry, there's a bug in Firefox 4 beta 1 that makes it freeze often on the Motorola Droid and Droid 2. For details, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602252

We do not have a fix for this yet, but we will work on fixing it in a future version.
