Hi, not sure what I'm doing wrong, but my logins and passwords simply will not synch between devices. I principally use a desktop Win10 machine, and an iOS version of Firefox. Have double-checked settings on both devices, tried forcing a manual sync from each to the other, all to no avail. Any ideas on what I need to do differently? TIA.

Thanks to all for your efforts. I solved this on my own by disconnecting the sync from my iOS device and reestablishing the sync. It appears the sync had been corrupted for some reason, and disconnecting and reconnecting the sync appears to have solved the issue.

Did you possibly used the import wizard to import data from another browser or imported the passwords via CSV as this can affect syncing logins ?

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I haven't done any importing, and definitely have confirmed I'm using the same account. In fact this account has been used for years now across all my devices, and this failure to sync in either direction appears to be a more recent issue. As an example, at online retailer X, I established a userid and pw using the Win10 machine approximately 3 weeks ago. The new signon info never did sync to my iOS device... in fact an old userid and pw still stored on that device doesn't match the new one, and the old one never synced to the Win10 machine. Discovered all of this after locking the account for too many sign-in attempts and reset the pw today. That new pw has not made it to the other device, though it may still need some time. Looking back I believe I've had this issue fairly recently with other userids and pws, but am not recalling which ones at the moment, only the head scratching event when it failed. I'm aware of the delay between syncs showing up on the other device, but this appears to never have synced. Hope this info helps and thanks to all for looking into it.

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastesite if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.

Hi John,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble syncing your logins and passwords between your devices. I understand how frustrating that can be. Let's try to troubleshoot the issue and find a solution for you.

First, make sure that you are signed in to the same Firefox account on both your desktop Win10 machine and iOS version of Firefox. This is important for the syncing to work properly. You can check your account status by going to the Firefox settings or preferences and looking for the "Sync" or "Firefox Account" section.

If you are already signed in with the same account, try the following steps:

On your desktop Win10 machine, open Firefox and go to the menu (three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner) and select "Options" or "Preferences." In the options or preferences menu, go to the "Privacy & Security" section. Scroll down to the "Logins and Passwords" section and make sure that the "Saved Logins" option is enabled. Next, go to the "Firefox Account" section and click on the "Sync Now" button to manually trigger a sync. Now, let's move to your iOS version of Firefox:

Open Firefox on your iOS device and tap on the menu (three horizontal lines in the lower-right corner). Go to the "Settings" menu and select "Firefox Account." Make sure that you are signed in with the same Firefox account as your desktop Win10 machine. Tap on "Sync Now" to manually trigger a sync. After following these steps, give it some time for the sync to complete and check if your logins and passwords are now syncing between your devices. If the issue persists, please let me know, and we can explore further troubleshooting steps.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thanks but I have previously done all of this to no avail. I only have one Firefox account, synching has worked previously, I tried manual syncing from both devices, checked settings on both devices, stated this in earlier posts on this thread and posted sync errors at the request of the OP.
