I have in thunderbird 102.6.1 (64 bits) three e-mail accounts. Windows 11 version 22H2. All three accounts are using the same outgoing server: smtp.ziggo.nl port 465 SSL/TLS normal password, From two accounts I can send without problems e-mail to .gmail.com accounts. But when I send from address [email protected] to a .gmail.com address I get the message that authorisation failed. On my Android telephone I can send with my e-mail adress [email protected] witout any problem an e-mail to a .gmail.com account. The same is true for using this mailaccount on my laptop, with an other mail programm.

All server types are IMAP with port 993. I tried to find differences in the adjustmens but cannot find any difference. I am looking forward to hear if someone els has this problem too and a solution.

Just a comment to clarify your issue. You must have a separate SMTP server for each account, even though they may all be using the same server. Give each a unique name so you don't get confused when applying them to accounts. The authentication problem surfaces when you have a different email account in the SMTP server and a different one for incoming server.
