I am not sure what you want. Google Drive is not a browser. If you meant Google Chrome then it depends on your platform, but https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-your-default-browser-in-windows-10-020c58c6-7d77-797a-b74e-8f07946c5db6 could help if you are on windows. But then you should choose Google Chrome instead.

And why is it so difficult? I don't believe it is.

Hi Jay, If you ever want to know the operating system of the person posting the question, check out the tags section in the sidebar. I've attached a screenshot. In this case, it looks like Bobbi is using a mac.

Bobbi, As Jay said, Google Drive is not a browser. To make Chrome your default, open your Chrome Settings and click Make default.

Why do you need to make Chrome your default? If there's an issue in Firefox, maybe we can help. ☺️

Note that is this case there is also more info available in the System Details drop-down list.

Maybe also check the homepage setting.
