Transfer Thunderbird Mail to Outlook
The company I contract with has thrown me a problem and I need some help resolving it. I have searched many internet sites and have seen many apps that claim to do the job of moving mbox to .pst or eml. I've seen procedures to move 1 email at a timr to Gmail and then importing to Outlook (onerous). I have no idea if any of the apps will do the job or not. Some claim to migrate folders and I have lots of those I would like to keep.
Problem - I have to migrate to Microsoft Outlook 2016 (Later on to 365).
I currently use pop mail and store my messages locally. I have close to 1gb of messages stored in the POP Mail folder and I guess some old mail in an imap mail folder. The dates are messed up, because I had a Thunderbird crash and had to reinstall and import via a backed up profile.
What is most important is what is in my current inbox and multiple folders I use on my desktop. I can live without the rest.
So can anyone recommend a way either via a reliable app, or manually to migrate my inbox and local folders to Outlook from Thunderbird?
Thank you.

Stan, I looked at this option, but when I searched in Thunderbird there aren't any mbox files. Mail is listed with *.sbd folders and a pile of mail called a file. I searched in the roaming profile folder and in the mail folder. How/where do I find the mbox files?
Thanks for your help.
The mbox files used by Thunderbird do NOT have extensions. They are the "pile of mail called a file" files that Windows lists as type "file". The mbox file for your Inbox folder in Thunderbird, is simply called "INBOX". Subfolders in Thunderbird are stored as folders with a ".sbd" suffix in the profile folder. Each mbox file has a corresponding index file that has a ".msf" extension in their names. That "407 ETR" file, for example, is an mbox file.
