How can I enable Firefox in Windows Defender Firewall?

more options

I'm using Windows Defender Firewall in Windows 10, and I have blocked all Inbound and Outbound connections, created a New Rule for Firefox (version 78.11.0_ESR), and allowed the program to access the internet from the installation path: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe". However, internet access is inaccessable? Does Firefox makes some DETOUR route without my knowelage or is it just me and my moderate IQ? All other applications have full respect to Windows Defender Firewall rules. Thank you.

Note that current is 78.12.0.

Did you try to enable logging Windows Defender to see if that gives a clue on what to allow as Firefox uses a lot of extra processes that might still be blocked ?

Current version 78.12.0. noted.

I have followed your advice about logging Windows Defender, and found some usefull instructions from this link:

I will post just few lines from the log file (privacy concerned reasons).

How can I troubleshoot the problem from the log file? What am I supposed to look at?

Please note that TOR browser (Firefox version 78.12.0), is not creating any problems with Windows Defender Firewall.

NSA maintance volunteers, Firefox departmant? Or, prehaps, Russian malicious influence again? Pardon my already stated moderate IQ and paranoid personality disorder, but if I have problems allowing the application access to the internet, I just wonder what kind of trouble would I have if I want to block the Firefox's access to internet (reverse engineering point of view). I will not tell anyone about this I promise. Is my life in danger?
