My Firefox browser "reset" itself and I lost my profile. I found 2 accounts for my profile, but dont know how to check which was the last one and turn it back a couple of weeks to when it went weird.

I have lost all my bookmarks, passwords etc, so need to turn the clock back as it were and/or reinstall the profiles that are on my computer. I tried to reinstall one, didnt seem to work...help please!

You can open the profiles folder and check their dates.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. One should be listed as In Use.

The other profile should have something like: Launch Profile In New Browser Does this have your missing data? If so, close the first browser. Go to about:profiles and have that declared as the default. After, close Firefox. Wait 20 seconds. Then restart.

In case neither of the profiles on about:profiles is what you are looking for:

When you say there was a reset, do you mean the Firefox Refresh feature ran? If that worked correctly, it moved your old profile folder to your desktop inside an Old Firefox Data folder. Do you see such a folder? If so how recently updated are its contents? For example, the files in the bookmarkbackups folder have their creation dates coded into their names.
