Startup tabs
I want FF to open multiple sites when I first load the program. But, I don't want them all to be included as a home page selection. I can do this in Chrome and Edge, but I don't see how in FF. Currently, every time I hit the home icon in FF, all tabs are reloaded to the same tabs that are already open.

You're right, Firefox doesn't have a built-in feature for that.
Some workarounds people have used over the years are:
(1) Using the pinned tabs feature
More info on that: Pinned Tabs - keep favorite websites open and just a click away
(2) Adding URLs to your Firefox desktop shortcut (using the Properties dialog, Shortcut tab)
Usually the Target field of the shortcut is
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
and you add URLs like this
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url https://www.mozilla.org/ -url https://www.google.com/
(3) Saving the pages in a bookmark folder, then at startup, right-click the folder > Open All in Tabs
This assumes you keep bookmarks displayed in a convenient way...
