Firefox someines is not asking my master password as soon as I initiate a session

more options

I set the "Master Password" in Windows 10. When I initiate Firefox, sometimes the pop-up window asking for the master password does not appear. When I go to a site which uses user/password that I stored, I have to go settings, view the password and return to the tab where I need it. At that time my user password appears. After a while, the pop up window appears asking me for the master password. Does anyone has this problem? Is this a bug? in Mac OS I never had this problem.

Thank you for any help in solving this.

On the first launch of Firefox each day, the appearance (or lack thereof) of the prompt for your Master Password may be delayed vs later that day. The "first launch" does do more "housekeeping" than subsequent launches later in the day.

I have to slow down trying to use Firefox with the "first launch" to let Firefox "do its thing". The newer versions that "delay" has been more noticeable than older versions were. Plus using a Firefox Account for Sync services seems to cause that delay that with Firefox Profiles that I don't use with Sync.

IMO, without knowing more specifics about your situation I would say that it sounds normal to me.
