Bookmarks are missing after MacBook update to Catalina
After an update of my MacBook Air, the computer was restarted and now my bookmarks are missing. How can I retrieve them or are the deleted every time the computer is turned off and turned back on?

Make sure Firefox is installed properly and that you do not run Firefox from the Disk Image (DMG) file.
If you lost personal data then it is possible that a new default-release profile folder has been created. See "Determine if Firefox has created a new profile":
You can open the about:profiles page via the location bar to check whether multiple profiles are present and what profile Firefox currently is using.
- Do NOT click any Remove button on this page.
