I always set my search browser default to Google, but it always randomly switches back to Safe Search. What can I do to stop it from doing this, and keep it as Google?

Hi chloestreit,

That Safe Search is a browser hijacker - let's get rid of it :

First go to Firefox's Preferences => Addons => Extensions, and see if there are any suspicious looking extensions listed there - if so : remove them.

Do the same in your system's Preferences.

As most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere - you should run malware scans, as listed in this article :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware

Run all the scans that are listed there - what one program may overlook, the other one will find.
