I'm new to Firefox. In the past I've used IE, and whenever I'm on a page with a video, a RealPlayer Downloader icon automatically appears and gives me the option of downloading the video using RP Downloader. Today when I set up Firefox on my computer, I went to Add-ONs and checked "Always Enable" on the RealPlayer Downloader. But after doing this, nothing happened. No RP Downloader icon appears! What must I do to continue to use this convenient video downloader?

Any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen a RealPlayer/Real Downloader thread for a long time. You may need to search back in the archives to see why users stopped using it, or find an alternative on the Add-ons site.
