Why does Message Filter setup to 'Reply with Template' not including BCC address included in template?

Problem: When a message filter auto-replies from template, it does not include the BCC address saved in the template. When I manually open the template, fill in the 'to' address, and send it works.

I am using a BCC Dropbox-type feature with a CRM that allows Contact records to be created when a special email address is included in the BCC of the email.

I have setup a message filter that runs upon new, unread messages, and automatically 'Reply from template' to a) Let the customer know that we received their support request and b) Send an email that includes the BCC address so that the CRM will create a new contact record.

Everything works except for one small thing: When a message filter auto-replies from template, it does not include the BCC address saved in the template. When I manually open the template, fill in the 'to' address, and send it works.

Have you tried doing the following?

right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' select: 'Copies & folders' select: 'Bcc thee email addresses' type in the email address click on OK

In Template, remove all To and Bcc emails addresses. The filter should insert the TO email address and the Account Settings for that account should then auto add the Bcc. Please test this and report back on results.
