Firefox for Android crashes few seconds after startup on Android 7 Nougat

Each time I start Firefox for Android, version 54 and earlier, on my AGM A8 it crashes just a few seconds later. I tried a clean install as well as using other versions like those from f-droid

Does Firefox Nightly crash for you?

I filed a bug for the crash at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1373964

thanks for filling that bug.

The nightly does crash too with the same exception. The new report for the nightly is at: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/dc8b7e35-1590-4581-926f-28cfb0170617
