After the latest Thunderbird update, when I either create a new event or edit an existing event I see two date and time fields for start and end instead of just one. The left hand one is the date and time of the event, but the right hand one seems to just be the current date and time. I'm wondering if this is a bug in the new program because it isn't obvious why the current date and time is needed for the start and end dates of the event.

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled".

If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
