I inadvertently accepted mozilla/firefox to collect info on my website visits to better understand my lifestyle. how do I unaccept this?
see above. there is no visible sign of this "feature" and how to turn it on or off in in your help section or any of the settings pages. Please inform me of how to "uncheck" the permission for you to collect my site visit information. It seems sneaky that there's no "uncheck" button or mention of it on your website or in settings. I've always been a big fan of Firefox and donated 1X but this is not good for biz. I would put this on high priority to add an uncheck button to the appropriate settings page and/or kill off the practice. Thanks in advance.

You can find the Data Choices here:
- Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Data Choices
Currently there are:
- Firefox Health Report
- Telemetry
- Crash Reporter
That seems like a strange question for Firefox to ask you. I suggest checking several of the categories on the Add-ons page to see whether any of them have any unexpected items. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click into each of the following and check for anything unexpected/nonessential:
Extensions - you can Disable anything you don't recall installing, and/or if it has settings, try clicking its Options button to see whether data sharing can be turned off there.
Maybe you installed this:
Firefox Interest Dashboard https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-interest-dashboard/
Services - check whether anything is enabled here that you don't want enabled.
Plugins - if there are plugins you do not use you can set them to "Never Activate" to disable them. (However, I don't think this is the most likely category to find the problem.)
Anything interesting there?
