Messages moved with filter still appear in in-box but with strikethru

I use filters to move most of my messages from my in-box to various folders. The messages that remain should be unexpected and therefore worthy of my attention if only for a moment. However, all of the moved messages still appear in my in-box, marked with an "x" and strikethroughs, thus obscuring the messages that remain.

How can I configure Thunderbird so moved messages no longer appear in my in-box?

被選擇的解決方法

Right click the account in the folder pane Select Settings In the Server setting for the account and change the deleted option to something other than "Just mark it as deleted". In IMAP terms that is display it with a strike thought.. The default is to move it to the trash folder, so this mist be setting you changed. The options remove it immediately may lead to slowed performance. But it is very much a case of try it to find out as it depends on your server and your computer as well as connection speeds.
